Flying marble model

I came across this silver fly.

I haven't seen such a insect with this color.

Why does it have such color?

Bush cricket

This isn't a life-size model.
It is a living bush cricket.

It didn't move and it seemed to be made of vinyl.
These two robotic factors let me got an illusion of this being a dummy.

Horned worm eating bushkiller

Under weak rain, this horned worm was eating a bushkiller leaf.

Many leaves have made its body.
Can it survive to reproduce itself?

Evil Collaboration on a Leaf

A caterpillar.

Half of this leaf was eaten...

In the reverse side, a slug took up its position.

They were eating a greenpepper leaf.

Especially, I hate the caterpillar.
I feared its assaultive hair was fired off.

Copper in a early summer afternoon

I found this little butterfly in a early sumner afternoon.
Its scientific name is Lycaena phlaeas.

This means "flamboyant goddess of the moon."

Till skipper flying

A skipper sucking safflower nectar.

This is front shot.
I can take few pictures like this.
This photo is lucky one for me.

This shot is, too.

The luck didn't kept on so long....
He started flying!

My own work climbing board

1st stage
Paint plywood panel with brown protective coat.

2nd stage
Build the frame with single pipes.
They were so heavy that it was a hard task for me to make this structure.

And, put rafters on it with clamps and screws.

3rd stage
Set the baords on the frame of single pipes.
No home improvement stores near my house sold a screw long enough to fix clamp, rafter and board together.
Thus, I had to fix clamp & board to clamp severally.

4th stage
Drive the claw nuts in the boards!
This work was the easiest in the all stage.

I want more claw nuts because I could set holds made of residual squared lumber

6th srtage
It's nearly finished.
This state requires 4 more tubes to prop thisvclimbing board up.

I completed my work :-)
Only 9 holds on the board make very hard problem to climb.
