A copper had lunch in my garden.

This is popular in this season but the beautiful butterfly skipper brings me a fresh impression.

Japanese moon moth

One early morning, I found a beautiful blue moth on wall of a hut in Shizuoka. 

This may be a Japanese moon moth.
In Japan, the similar one luna moths lives.
I don't know which.

I don't know which species they are.....

A caterpillar cleaned by washing machine

On my way to home, this poor caterpillar got on my shirt and washed by my washing machine.

Of course, he died but his body wouldn't leave from the shirt.

He might resist desperately.

Green devil on a morning glory reaf

I found a venomous green caterpillar.

I thought it might be a species of hawk moth.

 Although it has very poisonous color & design because it had a horn on his hip.

This orange tree in my garden eaten by this green devil!

Few leaves could survive till autumn.

I decided to annihilate them

Skipper from upside

This little butterfly has hair on its back.

And its wings are like a fighter's.

They enable skipper to fly fast.

Flying marble model

I came across this silver fly.

I haven't seen such a insect with this color.

Why does it have such color?

Bush cricket

This isn't a life-size model.

It is a living bush cricket.

It didn't move and it seemed to be made of vinyl.

These two robotic factors let me got an illusion of this being a dummy.

Evil Collaboration on a Leaf

A caterpillar.

Half of this leaf was eaten...

In the reverse side, a slug took up its position.

They were eating a greenpepper leaf.

Especially, I hate the caterpillar.

I feared its assaultive hair was fired off.

A skipper sucking safflower nectar.

"Eastern pale clouded yellow"

This yellow butterfly resting on a leaf has such a long name.

I found it in a park beside a dam.

I thought the dam is need for them?

The Inchworm

I thought I found a silky branch but it's not a branch.

A worm was mimicked a branch.

It was an inchworm!

The face lookｓ bestial but it feeds on plants. 

Flying in my garden

This black flew bustle about my garden.

The spectacle was so unpleasant..

I was frustrated with them!

This is called love hug.

A Little fly has an arts in his eyes

A little fly was on the orange tree.

Because of low temperature, it didn't move.

So, I tried taking some pictures.

I found this fly has very beautiful striped pattern in its eyes.

This is a day of a new discovery.

Fluorescent yellow worm

The dangerous worm was walking on a machine for our work.

It's a larva of momema flavescens.

The stinger covers all of its body.

So dangerous & terrible species.

Caught on tape (a poor Crane fly)

He died on adhesive tape....

He might be caught by this tape and not able to fly away.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Focused on skipper or Malvaceae flower

I took some pictures of a skipper and a flower of malvaceae.

In this picture, a flower was focused on.

And in this picture, a skipper was focused on.

Stamens and petals were closed up.

The base of petal was beautiful, too.

I didn't know that!

A skipper & leek flower

This season, many skippers are seen around.

They fly very quickly.

I had to take a photograph of him before he flew away.
