Poor butterfly remained its wings

 

I found an odd thing like a pupa made with butterfly wings on the roof of my house.

It might be wings of a swallowtail butterfly.

It was rolled with spider thread.

Its body might be eaten.

How long was it on there..?

A copper had lunch in my garden.

This is popular in this season but the beautiful butterfly skipper brings me a fresh impression.

And its wings are like a fighter's.

They enable skipper to fly fast.

I found this little butterfly in a early sumner afternoon.

Its scientific name is Lycaena phlaeas.

This means "flamboyant goddess of the moon."

This yellow butterfly resting on a leaf has such a long name.

I found it in a park beside a dam.

I thought the dam is need for them?

An elfin on leek flowers

The little butterfly was sucking nectar of leek flowers.

His wings were damaged. He might be old.

His dots were so specific but I couldn't detect his species...

Chrysalis found on the wheel

I found this chrysalis was on the wheel which I was about to ride on.

 It wore moss but it was alive.

Were the orange parts wings?

This side might be the ventral?

A injured butterfly lacked his leg

I saw a butterfly which didn't fly away when man get near it.

I note its leg was lost.

It was injured.

Because of damage, it might be not able to fly...
