About Lotus Root

It looks like a potato.

The root has many straws.

The straws are passed through the root.

The tubes supply air to tissue under water.

In Japan, it is said that you can see tomorrow, when you see through the tube of lotus root.

I make the dough of the salmon pizza thin!

So, it was very crispy ^_^

In opposite, the dough of the crab pizza was thick.

 It became neapolitan style.

Sawara Shinjuk autumn festival

Sawara Shinjuk autumn festival (held in Octber)  is one of the intangible cultural heritage.

This festival has been going since Edo era.

I parked my car in a parking far from the venue.
So, I went to the venue by a boat!

In the festival, many dolls made in Edo~Meiji era are used.

The dolls are about historical figures.

 

I saw them eating traditional  Fish-shaped pancake filled with bean jam.
