Jewel beetle on hydrangea

A jewel beetle on a hydrangea leaf.

I think his metallic iridescent body isn't suitable for mimicry.

In Japan, this insects were used for decoration of buildings long ago.

Outside of the forest I took some pictures  in mosquitoes, I found this flower bloomed.

It had some dusts on its petal.

It might stand up to its distress.

Hot summer of Japanese beetles

3 Japanese beetles were feeding on bushkiller flowers.

 They were eating flowers, not nectar.

I understood why they're hated in America....(••;)

On the other leaf, hot blooded Japanese beetles were holding a fight!

Only the right side beetle was an onlooker.

Was it really a fight?

What were they doing???

Their hot summer doesn't end.

Wait on the glass wall with a high risk

A mantis was on the glass wall.

Could he catch any insects there?

 Was there a high risk that his natural enemy could find him easily?

Although, he was waiting the chance.

Frog died on the heated roof

He have been dead on the sunbaked metallic roof.

Why did he die here?

He fell from a beak of a bird?

He might jump to here from ground?!

Object or weed?

Milk purslane the disliked weed in gardens.

 Contrast of greena nd white is beautiful isn't it?

I think this we can use this weed as an object in our garden.

Almost of this species bloom in night but this bloomed in morning.

20-30% of them blooms in daytime.
