This season, many skippers are seen around.
They fly very quickly.
I had to take a photograph of him before he flew away.

An elfin on leek flowers
The little butterfly was sucking nectar of leek flowers.
His wings were damaged. He might be old.
His dots were so specific but I couldn't detect his species...
A skipper sucking leek nectar
She didn't fly away nevertheless I closed to her.
She was against to wind to suck nectar.
Feeding was important than her crisis.
Her straw was very long, so she can suck nectar of other flowers without walking or flying.
Much energy may be required to fly around.
