Plum flower blooming

In early January, I found plum flowers blooming.

And here is a sprout.

It was so cold day but sunlight were warm. 

Spring might be coming closer.

Cherry blossom on my way to work

 Early April, so many cherry was blooming.

 One of the cherry varieties Someiyoshino was blooming everywhere.

White flowers of wild cherry.

Wild cherry is considered an ancestor of Someiyoshinowith pink flowers. 

The blossom covered the sky.

Kakitagawa spring

This is one of the start of Kakitagawa river.
From some springs like this, huge amount of water which comes from Mt. Fuji is supplied.

This is a start spring of Kakitagawa river, too.

Some decades ago, the clear & beautiful river was polluted with some chemical substance by a factory.

Effort of a citizen's group removed the problem & pollution  which the river had.

Cherry blossom symbolizes Japanese spring

Spring is the season for the most popular flower in Japan.

This tree which has pink flowers all over itself is called Somei Yoshino.

So many flowers are blooming all over their branches, sprays & twigs.
The number of the flowers is overwhelming.

I found the pretty little flower was blooming beside a walk in a park.

The flower has no name in English.

In Latin, it is called Viola grypoceras.
