Butcher-bird prey impaled on twigs

I found a lizard impaled on twig.

The lizard was skewered at his neck.

It was half dead when I caught sight of it.

I pull out a twig from it but no blood flowed out. It lost too much blood.

A lizard was on the sheet which I used for my work.

It was a Japanese Grass Lizard.

He ran away when I started my work.

He walked around veranda.

His target might be insects flying around potted flowers.

I tried catching oriental longheaded locust.

And, he was captured by a lizard!!

His viscera was broken immediately... 

Beacause he didn't move.
